With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Mina Nelson of Walker, Minnesota, born in Hope, North Dakota, who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Boettcher and Ida Boettcher (Wheeler); her husband George W. Nelson; her siblings, Arletta Klies, Maurine Jacobson, Joyce Lindback and Smedley Boettcher; her brothers-in-law, Frank Klies, Keith Jacobson and Aldy Lindback; and her parents-in-law, George N. and Violet Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Nelson of Chisholm, William Nelson (Julie) of St. Joseph and Boyd Nelson (Vickie Flannigan) of Akeley; and her grandchildren, Dan Burgau, Lindsey Cremers (Ed), Andrew Burgau, Jordan Nelson, Phillip Nelson, Benjamin Nelson and Joshua Hoeschen (Megan). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
