It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan A. Lohberger (Waldorf, Minnesota), born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on March 17, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus Hammerstrom and Gertrude Hammerstrom (Hodapp); her son Terry Schwichtenberg; her former husband Ralph Schwichtenberg; and her siblings, Kenneth Hammerstrom and Elaine Leiferman (Robert).
She is survived by: her husband Jerry; and her children, Elaine Witkowski, Ken Schwichtenberg (Sue), Jim Schwichtenberg (Diane) and Patti Schlaak (Paul). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Joan's family requests memorials be directed to American Diabetes Association, ALS Association, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, or to the donor's choice in her memory.
