He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Heying and Katherine Heying (Kohorst); his wife Theresa G. Voigt; his granddaughter Michelle Schaffer; and his daughter-in-law Cathie Heying (Roger).
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Schaffer (Mike), Rita Brunckhorst (Lou), Marion Rieder (Walter), Roger, Martha Kaehler (Ben), Michael (Kristy), Marlene and Joseph (Susan). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
