Schmidt in Waite Park, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schmidt and Marie Schmidt (Rangitsch); his wife Mary T. Martin; and his siblings, Angie Mayer, Jean Wojcik and Harold Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Schmidt of Brooklyn Park, Jacqueline Schmidt of Minneapolis and Jeffrey Schmidt of St. Cloud; and his sister Darlene Christenson.
