He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Kalla (Kirchner); his daughters, Mary Becker (Ron) and Amy Kline (John); his grandson Jesse Raden; his siblings, Claude Kalla and Beatrice Pundsack (Leo); and his parents, Joseph Kalla and Susan Kalla (Dufner).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Kalla (Bonnie), Kathryn Bahe (Peter), Mark Kalla (Christine) and Chris Kalla (Nancy); and his brother LeRoy Kalla (Betty). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mary Lou Kalla Foundation.
