He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Bauer, Robert Bauer and Rita Verkinnes; his sisters-in-law, Rosie Bauer, Jack Verkinnes and John Babcock; and his niece Debbie Bauer.
He is survived by: his spouses, Lois Jean Keck and Carol; his sons, Jeffrey Bauer (Michelle) and Daniel Bauer; his stepchildren, Brian Beuning (Cindy) of Albany and Jennifer Seehusen (Darren) of Rosemount; his siblings, Sylvia Babcock of Lady Lake, FL and Lloyd Bauer (Sandy) of Sartell; and his sisters-in-law, Jo Bauer of St. Cloud, Marv Taufen, Brian McCoy (Shirley) of Sauk Centre, John Taufen (Julie) of St. Joseph, Brad Bristol (Jan) of Mound and Kevan Rosenow (Joyce) of St. Cloud. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
