He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paggen and Angeline Paggen (Pilarski); his wife Lorraine Schaefer; his son David; and his siblings, Marcella Curtis, Beatrice Dahl (Poo), Jerome and Donald Paggen.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Stang (Ken) of Duluth, Terry and Scott Paggen of Waite Park; his grandchildren, Tim Paggen, Chad Walz (Allie), Jamie Walz and Kellie Davidson (Nate); and his siblings, Gerald Paggen (Manny) of Rice and Judy Laudenbach of Wisconsin. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
