He was predeceased by: his parents, John Philippi and Rose Philippi (Lutgen); his daughter Wanda Philippi; and his siblings, Viola Schreifels (Al), Sylvan (Iris), Celestine "Cel", Wilfred "Rusty" (Jenny), Donna Mae and Juliann Philippi.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Campbell; his children, Debra Hansen (Richard) of Rice, Gregory (RoseMary) of St. Cloud, Pamela Olson of Waite Park and John (Jonelle) of Cold Spring; his siblings, Delphin "Del" (Vi) and Lorraine Thole; and his sister-in-law Dolores Philippi. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
