He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Welle and Ledvina Welle (Berns); his wife Marlys Haiden; and his brothers, Kenny and Willie.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Lembeck; his children, Grant of Waite Park, MN, John (Amanda) of Minnetrista, MN and Jamey (Amy) of Rogers, MN; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Madeline, Abigail, Matthew, Jack and Lilah Welle; his siblings, Diane Moritz (Rob) of Waite Park, MN, Grace Carlson (Dick) of Albany, MN, Tom Welle (Marge) of Sauk Centre, Roger Welle (Joyce) of Freeport, David Welle (Jan) of Rockville, MN and Mark Welle (Lola) of Sauk Centre, MN; and his former wife Carol Wegman.
