William Carkhuff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Carkhuff of Wadena, Minnesota, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carkhuff and Leona Carkhuff (Kupfer); and his brothers, Roger "Butch" Carkhuff, Tom Carkhuff and Mike "Howard" Carkhuff.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Cypher of Ann's Catholic Church; his daughters, Tanya Gronewold (Brian) and Angie Burke (Duane); his granddaughters, Ella Gronewold, Haylee Braith (Aaron) and Brianna Plautz (Austin); his great grandchildren, Greyson, Waylon, Owen Plautz and Mason Braith; and his siblings, Mary Blom (John), Sue Hieb (Galen), Joyce Hieb (Jarel), Trish Steinkopf (Bruce) and Jim Carkhuff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Karvonen Funeral Home ~ Wadena (419 2nd St NE, Wadena, MN 56482). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
