He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold William and Jennie Elizabeth Goddard (Wassink); and his siblings, Evelyn, Jean, Doug, Donald, Clinton and Francis.

He is survived by: his wife Norma of Wadena; his children, Glen Goddard (Deann) of Verndale, Charles Goddard (Michelle) of Verndale, Brenda Weniger (Don) of Verndale and Lorrie Rach (Lance) of Perham; his siblings, Pat Cottrell (Allen) of Moorhead, Lou Harne of Wadena, Jim Goddard of Anderson, MO and Paulette Plautz of Sartell; and also, Ashley, Jeremy, Kristin, Seira, Chandler, Sydney, Luke, Skylar, Leighton, Jackson, Reagan and Braylon.

Memorials may be directed to the Verndale Green Lawn Cemetery, Wadena Veterans Memorial Park, or Honor Flight.
