She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Braun and Ethel Braun (Robinson); her husbands, Alan L Nicoll and Robert Wilkening (Bob); her grandson Jesse Wilkening; her brother Floyd Braun; and her brother-in-law John Monical.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Widmer (Ken) of Wasilla, AK, Alan (Jody), Randy Avon (Lisa) and Jeffrey Rice (Jo Ann); her stepson Dale Wilkening Deer (Melissa); her sisters, Delores Monical of Pequot Lakes, Mary Lynk (Russ) of Detroit Lakes and Joyce Perreten (Jerry Orbeck) of Ottertail; and her pet Babydoll. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Phyllis' name may be directed to the First Congregational Church UCC in Wadena.
