He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Wallace and Helene Wallace (Henning); his siblings, Jack Wallace and Myrna Ternes; his brothers-in-law, Isadore Ternes and Vern Strehlow; and his nephew Randy Ternes.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Joyce Sandburg; his children, Cheryl Whitchurch of Alexandria, Scott Wallace (Darla) of Houston, MN, Todd Wallace of Melrose and Kirk Wallace of Wadena; his grandchildren, Derek (Brittany), Brennan (Megan), Jaden, Dave, McKenna Wallace, Andrew, Zach Whitchurch (Vanessa) and Brooke Lorentz; his great grandchildren, Vivian, William and Jameson Wallace; his siblings, Marlene Strehlow and Roger Wallace; and his sister-in-law Carol Wallace of Wadena.
The family prefers memorials be directed to the Boys & Girls Club, or Knute Nelson Hospice.
