It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Weiher (Wadena, Minnesota), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lehmkuhl and Frieda Lehmkuhl (Oldenburg); her husband Darrel Weiher; her son Kevin; her sister Alice Ross; her brothers-in-law, Norman Sampson and Lyle Ross; her son-in-law Jerry Hannah; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Grace Weiher.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne (Joyce) of Bemidji, Mary Hannah (Jerry) of Bemidji, Michael (Lela) of Chapel Hill, NC, Deb Denny (Terry) of Sebeka, Randy (Berni) of Sauk Rapids, Jeff (Tammy) of Farmington and Karen Thompson (Dirk) of Lee's Summit, MO; her sister Adeline Sampson; and her grandchildren, Jeanie Hall (Weiher), Jodi Maxwell (Weiher), Amy Erickson (Weiher), Michael Weiher, Miranda Buchan (Weiher), Eric Peterson, Junell Koberlien (Weiher), Brandon Denny, Matthew Denny, Kelly Estrada (Weiher), Keith Weiher, Danielle Clauer, Mychaela Burggraff, Kimberly Knight (Weiher), Bethany Winslow (Weiher), Piper Thompson, Pacey Thompson, Peri Thompson and Gabby Weiher. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, & 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (710 Franklin Ave SW, Wadena, MN 56482). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
