She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderic Townsend and Vivian Lawrence Townsend; her brother Robert Townsend; her daughter Margaret (Bob); and her grandchildren, Anna and Ben.
She is survived by: her children, Mary (Ray Hawes) of St. Louis Park, MN, Sara "Sally" (Carl Sawicki) of Alpine, TX, Robert of Wadena, Jean of Missoula, MT and Molly (Lance Heuer) of Sturgis, S. D. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
