She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Ojanen and Hilda Ojanen (Clarence Rantala); her brothers, Kaino and Paul Ojanen; her siblings-in-law, Sis and Nona; her sisters, Alli Harwood, Eine Gordon and Effie DeKeyser (McEachern); and her brothers-in-law, Bob, John and Doug.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Arnold Rantala; her children, Victor Rantala (Lisa), Kay Schroeder, John Rantala (Darleen Vogel) and Amy Goldstein (Edward); her stepchildren, Mark Linen (Nikki) and Deborah Foster (Jack); her brother-in-law Don DeKeyser; and also Ellen. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
