We bid farewell to Darwin Leonard of Wadena, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Darwin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leonard and Stella Leonard (Wehmeyer); and his siblings, Laurence Leonard, Leslie Leonard and LaVonne Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Leonard of Wadena, MN; his children, Rick Kasperson (Cindy) of Verndale, MN, Dave Kasperson (Ginette) of Round Rock, TX, Linda Kasperson of Tustin, CA and Barb Bastian (Brett) of Clear Lake, MN; his brother Don Leonard (Kathy) of Sauk Centre, MN; and his sister-in-law Darlene Leonard of Wadena, MN.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Karvonen Funeral Home ~ Wadena (419 2nd St NE, Wadena, MN 56482). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be directed to the Wadena County Relay for life.
