Carol Rowan Obituary
We bid farewell to Carol Rowan of Wadena, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 31, 2025 at the age of 85. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mohs and Delores Mohs (Weiman); her husband Bob; her brothers, Jerry, Tom and Jim Mohs; her parents-in-law, Edwin and Neioma Rowan; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Deckert, Kenny Monson, Duane Anderson and Jerry Rowan.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Rowan (Tammy), Paulette Christopher (Ron), Michele Allen (Chad Bryniarski) and Bobbi Jo Burkett (Bill); her siblings, Duane Mohs (Lori), Diane Monson (Joe Hayden), Elaine Anderson, Kenny Mohs (Jill), Linda Aly (Ken), Ed Mohs (Corinne) and Larry Mohs; her siblings-in-law, Leone Rowan and Herman Deckert; and her grandsons, Jamie Rowan, Adam, Nathan Haskins, Levi Allen, Alex and Zac Roorda.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Johnson-Schuller Chapel (205 4th St SW, Wadena, MN 56482). A prayer was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (514 1st St SE, Wadena, MN 56482).
