She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Rasmussen and Frieda Rasmussen; her siblings, Alvera, Claretta and Donald; her husband Martin J. Kumpula; her grandchildren, Krystal Johnson, Robin Thomas, Robert Johnson (Sonja), David Husby (Kristi), Marty Kumpula (Amanda), Kallie Oppegard, Dustin Oppegard, Devon Oppegard, Jason Kumpula (Shannon), Jennifer Christenson (Derek), Anna Niemela (Ethan), Emily Holt (Jeff), Charlie Covart (Michelle), Chris Covart (Kelly), Michael Kumpula and Sadie Kumpula; her great grandchildren, Kiara Sanigular, Robert Sanigular, Aleah Rounds, Honey Thomas, Faith Johnson, Robert Calab Johnson, Chila Johnson, Jakayla Johnson, Jacob Kumpula, Michael Oppegard, Edward Kumpula, Zachary Christenson, Kody Christenson, Dylan Christenson, Grace Christenson, Harmon Holt, Hank Holt and Alayha Kumpula; and her great great grandchild Karmen Sanigular.
The COVID-19 Virus made her feel like she was on house arrest at the Meadows Assisted Living in Wadena.
In lieu of flowers, Arles wished for donations to be made to any of the following: Trinity Lutheran Church of New York Mills for their Playground American Cancer Society New York Mills VFW Post #3289 Auxiliary.
