With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell J. Markiewicz of Waconia, Minnesota, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Markiewicz and Helen Markiewicz (Schiller); his siblings, Ronald Markiewicz, Shirley Schimp (James) and Janice Fuszard; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Marie Schreiber.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Schreiber; his sons, Joseph Markiewicz (Betty) of Kirksville, MO and John Markiewicz (Pam) of Waconia; his grandchildren, Stephen Markiewicz (Trista), Adam Markiewicz, Matthew Markiewicz, David Markiewicz (Anna), Michael Markiewicz (Payton Wills), Kristin Markiewicz and Brennan Markiewicz; his great grandchild Wendell Joseph Markiewicz; and his brothers, Robert Markiewicz (Donna) and Gene Markiewicz (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
