He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hintz and Hedwig "Hattie" Hintz (Mattreich); his wife Alta Anderson; his son-in-law Roger Olsen; and his sisters, Elnora Salema, Lois Johnson and Fern Berglin.
He is survived by: his daughter Eloise Olsen of Waconia; his grandson Nathan Bergquist (Serena) of Mound; and his great grandchildren, Caylin Bergquist, Corrina Bergquist and Abe Bergquist. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
