With solemn reverence, we commemorate Virginia G. Karki of Waconia, Minnesota, born in Bemidji, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on October 4, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloria Witt and Ray H. Witt; her in-laws, John Karki and Elma Karki; and her brother Dr. William O. Witt.
She is survived by: her husband Myron; her children, Andrea Lemke (Rob) of Lake Forest, IL and David Karki (Vernessa) of Bloomington, MN; her grandchildren, Eli, Olivia Lemke of Chicago, IL and Nathan Lemke (Abney Good) of Chicago, IL; her brother Charlie (Valerie) of Vista, California; and her siblings-in-law, Morris Karki of Wausau, WI and LeAnn Witt of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum (3675 Arboretum Dr, Chaska, MN 55318).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be made to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Attn: Tributes, P.O Box 860647, Minneapolis, MN 55486 in Ginny's name, with intent for a memorial bench to be placed in an outdoor space with access to beautiful views of nature.
