It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester C. Morschen (Waconia, Minnesota), who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Morschen and Helen Morschen (Poppler); his siblings, Leroy Morschen, Franklin Morschen (Cordella) and Lorraine Olsen (Vernon); and his sister-in-law Beverly Gennrich.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Morschen of Cologne; his children, Joyce Johnson (Gregg) of Cologne, Rita Shephard of Morgantown, WV, Loren Morschen (Stephanie) of Cologne and Marcia Lammlein (Steven) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Hannah Pehl (Jacob), Emily Sandquist (Mark), Mitchell Johnson, Rebekah Shephard, Andrew Shephard, Christophe Morschen (Emily), Audrey Morschen, Charles Morschen and Sophia Morschen; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Pehl and Everly Pehl; his brother Vernon Morschen (Joanne) of Chaska; and his siblings-in-law, Beatrice Morschen of Chaska and Herman Gennrich. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
