He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Foster and Hazel Foster (Law); his former wife Dorothy Foster; his sons-in-law, Daniel Hartmann and Stephen Moeller; his granddaughter Susan Luke; and his siblings, Lyle Foster (Ruth), Arlene Harrington (Jack), Muriel Lund (Carroll), Shirley Wood (John), Betty Jean Gersbach (Sid) and Joanne Anton (Ralph).
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothea "Dorothy" Luedtke; his wife Sylvia Foster; his children, Sue Hartmann of Brainerd, Sandy Moeller of Eagan, Denise "DeDe" Allums (Jeff) of Colorado Springs, CO and Wendy Vincent of Jackson; his grandchildren, Jason Hartmann, Michelle Eggers (Jeff), Rebecca Voelker, Michael Moeller (Krista), Amy Hopkins, Sarah Hopkins, Tracy Osterberg and Rachael Ess (Chris); his grandson-in-law David Luke; his great grandchildren, Ashlee (Alex), Nicole, Baylee, Hunter, Emily, Alexa, Mikayla, Madelyn, Chloe, Louis, Tyler, Guillermo, Ceanna, Sophia, Victoria, Bradly, Jessy, Zachary, Alex and Karissa; and his sister-in-law LuVerne Luedtke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials donations suggested to Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
