He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Geyen and Valeria Geyen (Vojtisek); his former wife Judith (Derhaag); his son Jeffrey; his brother David Geyen (Gertie); his goddaughter Channa Geyen; his grandson Joseph Ludwig; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Oaks, Tom Derhaag, Walter Derhaag, Gerald Ebert, Paul Ebert, Dan Ebert and Lee Van Sloun.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Geyen; his children, Jason Geyen (Kristen) and Amanda Mansheim (Ed); his daughter-in-law Lisa Whittaker (Roch); his daughters, Mary Jo Eder (Marlene), Shelly Eder and Julie Ludwig (Bob); his grandchildren, Steven, Jacob, Max, Judith, Andrew, Jordan and Zachary; his siblings, Mary Geyen Lynch, Robert Geyen (Rosie), Chuck Geyen (Doby) and Fred Geyen (Marleen); and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Weinzierl (Jerry), Nancy Goalen (Tom), Mary Van Sloun, Debbie Ebert, Kay Lueck (Otto), Tom Ebert (Dona), Roger Ebert and Tony Ebert. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials preferred to St. Boni Fire Department or St. Joseph Catholic Community Paul was born on June 18, 1939 at the U of M Hospital, Minneapolis, the second son of Alfred and Valeria (Vojtisek) Geyen.
