He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Opheim and Agnes Gilbertson Opheim. He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his children, Gary Opheim (Nancy) of Wichita Falls, TX, Gail Durgin (Kevin) of Rochester, MN, Nancy Gunther of Young America, MN and Bruce Opheim (Julia) of Salina, KS; his grandchildren, Kara VerHage (Joshua), Alison Bettin (Brian Ohm), Sara Schock (Todd), Jennifer Opheim (David Gunnels), Kelsey Sulfstede (Brandon), Tabitha Margritz (Dan), Tyler Opheim (Linsey) and Michael Gunther (Molly Larson); and his great grandchildren, Henry Ohm, Freya VerHage, Kaiden Gunnels, Koleson Gunnels, Sawyer Schock, Ava Margritz, Presley Margritz, Lillian Opheim and Tyson Opheim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donation are preferred to Reese's Rainbow.
