It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Melchert of Waconia, Minnesota, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Schmidt and Hulda Schmidt (Boettcher); her sister Beth; her brother-in-law Joe Watka; her parents-in-law, John and Helen Melchert; and her sister-in-law Lois Heimlich.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; her brother Dick; her siblings-in-law, Jennifer Schmidt, Mark Melchert, Luke, Jan Melchert and Gerald Heimlich; her children, Mike (Pam), Kristin Mocol (Jim), Mark (Patty McLoughlin), David and Karla; her great grandchildren, Marisa Melchert and Claire Melchert; and her grandchildren, Matt Mocol, Jack Mocol, Emma Mocol, Raquelle Melchert, Paul Melchert, Chloe (John), Karbo, Dimitri, Emmelia, Madeline Melchert and Kate Melchert. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
