With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan L. Borchart of Waconia, Minnesota, born in Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Schultz and Gladys Schultz (Weis); her husband John Borchart; her sisters, Donna Christopherson and Dorothy Olson; her children, JoLene (Gregg Giersdorf), Jeff (Jill Borchart), Jacque (Dave Olson) and Judy Johnson of Elk River; her grandchildren, Aaron Giersdorf (Melissa), Ryan Jaide (Nicole), Justin Borchart, Katie Johnson and Matt Johnson; her great grandchildren, Aidan Giersdorf, Bryson Giersdorf, Kael Jacobson and Olive Jacobson; and her siblings-in-law, Jim, Fran Borchart of Chanhassen, Jerry Snyker of International Falls and Sue Wemeier of Waconia. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
