It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Ellis Gilmore of Waconia, Minnesota, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gilmore and Stella Gilmore. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Michael (Kelly), David (Michelle) and Kimberly Sop (Peter); his grandchildren, Seth Gilmore (Kerry), Bridget Gilmore (DJ), Kayla Lopez (Marco), Matthew Blachowiak (Heather), Logan Gilmore, Ellie Gilmore, Madison Gilmore and Kate Gilmore; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Gilmore, Nolan Gilmore and Joseph Gilmore; and his stepgrandchildren, Paige Muehlberg, Jacob Sop, Spencer Sop and Jacob Hille.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials preferred to Mount Olivet Cathedral of the Pines Camp.
