Eggert and Violet Eggert (Schultz); his brother-in-law Ray Nass; his nephew Dennis Eggert, Jr.; his sister Darlene; his brother-in-law Larry Thulin; his brother Dennis "Sunny" Eggert, Sr.; his brother-in-law Leland Peterson; his parents-in-law, David and Mabel Susdorf; his nephew Michael Susdorf; and his siblings-in-law, David G. "Butch" and Karen Susdorf (Plihal).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Susdorf; his children, Michele Phillips (Rick) of Minnetonka and David Eggert (Amber); his grandchildren, Annika and Michael of Greenwood; his nephews, Loren Nass (Darla) of Dassel and Steve Nass (Kathy) of New London; his niece Jody Holtz (Daniel) of Hutchinson; his sister Susie "Flora" Peterson of Hector; his nephew Todd Peterson (Lynn) of Hector; his nieces, Julie Bluhm (Mike) of Cleveland and Rondee Nosbush (Darby) of Franklin; his sister-in-law Arlys Eggert; his nephew Troy Eggert (Cyrus); and his niece Tamara Eggert of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
