Genevieve R. Schafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve R. Schafer of Waconia, Minnesota, born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Hess and Olga Hess (Otteson); and her brothers, Eugene Hess, Byron Hess, Douglas Hess, John Hess and Philip Hess.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Schafer; her children, Craig Schafer, Douglas Schafer (Debra), Jodi Earhart (Curt) and LeeAnne Larsen (Phil); her daughter-in-law Sandra Schafer; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Hess, Sharline Hess, Joyce Ziemak and Judith Schafer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
