He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his son Cory Hed of Mora; his stepchildren, Kacey Strang of Isanti, Kenny Ekblad of Eagan and Tim Ekblad of Eagan; his stepgrandson Brayden Strang; his siblings, Alan Hed (Lan) of Portland, Oregon, Susan Doty (John) of Chicago and Sonja Brown (Mark) of Minnetonka; and his nieces and nephews, Austin Hed, Ethan Hed, Maddie Brown, Forrest Brown (Meaghan), Harrison Brown (Morgan) and Berit Brown.
