He was predeceased by: his father Jack Perkins; and his brother Lee. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Perkins of Superior; his wife Sue Perkins of Waconia; his daughters, Jessica Powell (Mark) of St. Michael, Brittany Perkins of Cologne and Claire Smith (Tyson) of Grand Marais; his grandchildren, Daniel, Eli, Audrey Powell of St. Michael, Mason Brooks of Cologne and Aedan Smith of Grand Marais; and his sisters, Patricia Johnson (Richard) of Superior and Penney Birdsong (Donald) of Wayzata. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to N.C. Little Memorial Hospice (who provided amazing end-of-life care for Bruce), Crossroads Prison Ministries or the American Diabetes Association.
