He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schintz and Eleanore Schintz (Neumann); his wife Barbara Nell Larson; and his brothers, Robert and Joel.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Veness (Mitchell), Tim Schintz and Don Schintz (Sue); his grandchildren, Crystal Schintz (Rob Martens), Rachel Sniadajewski (John), Kayla Schintz, Amber Schintz, Thomas Schintz (Tiffany), Katee Hines (Eric), Dan Schintz (Rachel), Joe Schintz (Kayla) and Matt Schintz; and his great grandchildren, Johnny, Lukas, William, Benjamin, Gabe, Zach, Emma and Seth.
