It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven J. Oenning of Wabasha, Minnesota, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Oenning. He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Fruechte; his daughters, Desra Seim (Justen) and Lora Bunge (Eric); his grandchildren, Gabriel Smith, Leo Seim, Sage Bunge and Knox Bunge; and his siblings, Marlene Devos (Duke), Theodore "Ted" Oenning (Pat), Roger Oenning (Dorothy) and Sandra Tammel (Craig).

“LaVonne and family, I just learned of Steve's passing. I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. He was too young. I enjoyed working with Steve on the IBM Credit Union/Think Bank board. We had some good times together on trips and we generally enjoyed each other's company. I also treasured our friendship which included shared deer hunting photos.
