He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Holtzman and Elsina Holtzman (Giertz); and his brother Harris Holtzman. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Balow; his children, Jan Hager (Ken) of Eagan, MN and Steve Holtzman (Deb) of Rosemount, MN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Jason), Michael Hager, Allison Gerald (Matt) and Samantha Keepers (Cory); his great grandchildren, Julia, Zachary, Jayce Johnson, Kayla Hager Andersen, Levi Wilson, Hope and Noah Keepers; his stepgrandchildren, Kay Villella (Carl) and Scott Pavel; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rory and Bodi Villella. He is also survived by two brothers.
