It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Charles Schacht of Wabasha, Minnesota, born in Lake City, Minnesota, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schacht and Emma Schacht (Mickow); and his sister Shirley. He is survived by: his former wife Eunice Goihl; his wife Marianne Schacht of Wabasha; his daughters, Laura Weintraub (Marty) of Duluth and KaeMee Schacht of Chatfield; his stepchildren, Brenda Carrels (Timothy) of Wabasha, Lance Binner (Stephanie) of Wabasha and Scott Binner (Heather) of Dodge Center; his grandchildren, Shea Jech, Colin Jech, Lee and Sylvie Weintraub; his stepgrandchildren, Abbie, Lewis Carrels, Nicole, Annie Binner, Alyssa, Andrew and Annaka Binner; and his siblings, Wayne Schacht (Sonia) of Rochester, Ronald Schacht (Jana) of Salida, CA, Howard Schacht (Barbara) of Minneapolis and Dianna Oskey of Red Wing.
