It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin John Schmit (Wabasha, Minnesota), who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schmit and Louise Schmit; and his spouse Wilhelmine M. Wills. He is survived by: his children, Elaine McDonald (Jeff), Earl Schmit (Laurie), Gerald Schmit (Melissa), Larry Schmit (Gail), Judy Johnson (Jeff), Betty Horn (Kevin Kast), Ann Schmit, Darlene Fabian (Frank), Rita Rabehl (Ed) and Ruth Bauer. He is also survived by four sisters and a brother.
