He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tekautz and Gladys Tekautz (Axelson); his son Jon; his siblings, Pat, Tim and Edward; and his in-laws, Kay and Bergy.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Koski; his children, Robert (Allison), Lake Vermilion and Jamie of Mesa Az; his grandchildren, Anna, Hunter (Cierra), Paige (Chase Pocrnich), Kayla, Gary and Tiffany; his great grandchildren, Tim, Memphis, Remi Tekautz and Ryder Pocrnich; his siblings, Melinda Berg of Eveleth and Chuck (Nancy) of Soudan; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Anderson and Jerry Koski. He is also survived by Numerous niece and nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (306 2nd St S, Virginia, MN 55792). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
