He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Peterson and Ann Peterson (Tomatz); his wife Jan; his children, Dawn Bilbrey and Michael Otis; and his brothers, Floyd Peterson and Larry Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Peterson (Jane) of Roseville, MN, Candace Erickson, Stephen Otis of Phoenix, AZ, Renee Galaski (Otis) of Virginia, MN, Terry Otis (Heidi) of Virginia, MN and Rose Davis (Butch) of Virginia, MN; his grandchildren, Geoff Galaski, Bryan Galaski (John Hakala), Shea Galaski (Whitney), Jessica Otis, Jordan Benz and Austin; his great grandchildren, Gunnar Galaski, Avery Benz and Addy Benz; his brother Edward Peterson (Kathy) of Eveleth, MN; and also Bob. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (306 2nd St S, Virginia, MN 55792). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
