He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence S. McCarty and Elizabeth McCarty (Woolcock); his wife Shirley Bement; his son Glen; and his siblings, Ken, John, Ed, Clay, Ruth, Mabel, Bud and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his children, Alan McCarty (Janine) and Jean Jalonen (Kevin); his grandchildren, Tricia McCarty Jalonen, Landin, Lorna, Laekin, Katie Kimmes (Dan), Ian, Owen, Ayla, Justin Jalonen, Easton, Finn, Olivia, Logan McCarty-Jalonen, Brandon McCarty and Tyler McCarty (Allie); and his great great grandchild Baby Boy Kimmes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
