He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Salo and Dorothy Salo (Anderson); his brother Mark; and his nephew Adam. He is survived by: his wife Irene Makirinne Salo; his children, Tiina Salo of Saint Paul and Michael Salo (Samantha Howard) of Golden Valley; and his brother Nels Salo (Beth) of Waconia. He is also survived by three nephews; along with numerous cousins, extended family, and loving friends.
