Donald Leslie Bird Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Leslie Bird of Virginia, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bird and Mary Ann Bird (Prijatel); and his sister-in-law Mary Bird. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Petroskey; his children, Cory Bird (Katie) of Virginia and Melanie Stickney (Rick) of Britt; his grandsons, Andrew, Aiden Bird, Joshua and Joseph Stickney; his brother Richard Bird of Cambridge; and his pets, Qarl and Finley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church (901 4th St S, Virginia, MN 55792). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
