“Dear Mary Jo, Jeff and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bruce was a cherished friend. The past fifty years, as couples we shared many memorable moments together - boating, meals, raising our kids and trips. Our biggest adventure together was a trip to and from Boston for your wedding Jeff. I’ll miss sharing hot fudge brownie sundae's with my dessert buddy! I am grateful that I could spend time with Bruce at the hospital November 28th. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.”

“Dear Bruce, We met during our first year at Winona State College, Sept 1966. We became fast friends but we bonded as brothers for 57 years. Neither of us had a brother, so we became honorary brothers. As the years passed, everything in our lives changed but through it all we never forgot to be “brothers”. When I left your beside on Nov 28, your parting words to me were “you’re still my best man”. I will always stand proud knowing that, and you will forever be my brother. CJ Alfonso”
