She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Maki and Eva Maki (Hangasmaa); her siblings, Barbara, Lorraine, Edwin and Bobby; and her daughter Carrie Melander.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her son Steve Carlson (Tanya) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Cooper, Samuel, Kirby Carlson, Jaclyn, Allison and Robert Melander; her sister-in-law Violet; and her cousin Donna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
