He was predeceased by: his father Robert Dahlin; his brother Chris; and his brother-in-law Pierre. He is survived by: his mother Jeanne Dahlin; his children, Rebecca Wilson (Matt), Elizabeth DiLorenzo (Nick), Robert Dahlin, Kathryn Dahlin and Joseph Dahlin; his siblings, Deborah Kreimeyer (Gary), John Dahlin (Jane), Anne O'Mallan (Basil) and Amy Dahlin (Addison); and the mother of his children Tracy (Dave). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
