It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Schmieg (Victoria, Minnesota), who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Schmieg and Margaret Schmieg (Schutrop); his wife Donna Duvall; his sister Theresa Derhaag; and his brother-in-law James Brandl.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Schmieg of Victoria, Bruce Schmieg of Carver, Karen Larson (Dean) of Victoria and Jason Schmieg of Lester Prairie; his grandchildren, Timothy, Danielle, Benedict and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Gaius and Esmund; and his siblings, Elaine Brandl, Norbert Derhaag, Irene Pratt (Don), Jerome Schmieg (Doris), Betty Derhaag (Richard), Mildred Preslicka (Don), Phyllis Koepp (Curt), Phillip Schmieg (Cheryl), Robert Schmieg and Diane Stewart (Nolan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
