She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Shade and Genevieve Shade (Haase); her son Corey Walker; her brothers, Brian Shade, Al Shade, Jr. and Harlind Shade; and her nephew Eric Shade.

She is survived by: her daughters, Antoinette "Toni" Westphal (Darin) and Erica Bennett (Christopher); her grandchildren, Corinne Maule, Leilani Bennett, Hope Westphal and Chloe Westphal; her siblings, Jan Shade (Christina), Ralph Shade and Caryl Shade; and her sisters-in-law, Beth Shade, JoAnn Shade and Maxine Shade. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
