He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Otte and Irma Otte (Hinnenkamp); his sister Arlene Freecheck; and his close friend Jim Kohorst. He is survived by: his wife Peg (Klein) of Victoria, MN; his children, Bryce Otte (Allen Snow) of Atlanta, GA, Jill Gardner (Marty) of South Windsor, CT and Troy Klein (Rebecca) of Smyrna, TN; his sister Joyce Schlangen of Cold Spring, MN.; and his grandchildren, Nathan Weems, Juletta Klein, Vivian Gardner and Jack Gardner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Victoria Catholic Church (8228 Victoria Dr, Victoria, MN 55386). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School in Sauk Centre, MN.
