He was predeceased by: his parents, Saras Jesenius Oas and Adeline Oas DesMarais; his brother Leo Oas; and his daughter Amy Oas. He is survived by: his wife Judy Oas; his sisters, Teresa Campbell (Clarence) and Virginia; his children, Julie Conner (Brad), Barbara Shofner (Bradley), Casey Heutmaker (Mike), Robert Oas and William Oas (Robin); his grandchildren, Ashley (Travis), Madison, Kenzie, Alec, Tori and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Arthur, Eveliina, Frida and Sylvi.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Victoria Catholic Church (8228 Victoria Dr, Victoria, MN 55386). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
